Courage

Inyan Hoksila’s four uncles had disappeared when they went out hunting years before and Inyan Hoksila was now old enough to go after them to find them. He set off and finally arrived in the dark valley where Iya, the Evil, lived. The boy discovered that Iya now had taken on the shape of a great black stone and was rolling over and flattening anyone who attempted to traverse the valley. This had happened to his uncles also. Inyan Hoksila yelled for Iya to reveal himself and Iya came rumbling towards him with great speed, but just before Iya could hit the boy he turned himself back into the little white stone he had once been. The great stone collided with the little white stone and shattered into a thousand tiny pieces. Inyan Hoksila did something very brave: he looked evil straight in the eyes and challenged it. No matter how great the evil approaching you is, if you have the courage to believe in yourself, you will be able to break it. Doubt is what allows evil to conquer you. Trust in your own strength unequivocally when you find yourself in a difficult situation. Look approaching evil straight in the eye.
